עמותת פרקינסון בישראל

העמותה פועלת שלא למטרות רווח, ללא הבדל גזע, מין, דת, או דעות פוליטיות, ומנוהלת על ידי חולים חברי העמותה, בני משפחה וידידים. נושאי התפקידים ופעילים בעמותה מבצעים את תפקידיהם בהתנדבות ואינם מקבלים שכר. לצד הנהלת העמותה פועלת ועדה רפואית מייעצת, המורכבת מבכירי הנוירולוגים בארץ המתמחים במחלת הפרקינסון. פעילות העמותה ומתנדביה זכתה בהוקרה ובהערכה במסגרות ממלכתיות רבות, ביניהן אות הנשיא למתנדב, מגן משרד העבודה למתנדב, אות שר הבריאות למתנדבים מצטיינים, אות ראש העיר ירושלים למתנדבים מצטיינים, ועוד.
